Join the growing number of Australian businesses that are choosing wisely and in turn, showing they care about the welfare of farm animals.

The Choose Wisely Commitment

This Choose Wisely commitment is based on trust.

The RSPCA will not be monitoring this commitment. Instead, we expect businesses involved to provide customers with clear information to show they purchase and use eggs, chicken or pork (or all three) that have been farmed humanely. Businesses should be able to prove this if ever asked by a customer or the RSPCA.

To show your customers that you care about farm animals:

• Display the Choose Wisely sticker on your front window
• Flag items on your menu or in your display cabinet that are welfare-friendly
• Be prepared to prove it to customers if asked
• Provide information about Choose Wisely if your customers ask

Participating businesses are listed on the RSPCA’s Choose Wisely website. The RSPCA will be recommending that consumers choose wisely and support businesses that have joined with the RSPCA to improve the lives of farm animals.
